That seems like a good idea. Obviously ain't a place to store anything super top secret, but that should be secure enough to keep whatever out of the reach of any critters that might get in...
Oh, for sure. It's simple enough to make a toggle on a lid to keep it shut form prying paws and such. I had to do that a few times to keep, uh... everyone out of my stuff.
