[ A slow, wide growing smile is his answer that goes hehehe he hasn't had them before... They're far from her favorites to eat herself, but to watch other people eat? absolutely. ]
Yes. Absolutely.
[ If he calls her bluff later, she can claim it was the "whatever" she's confirming. but that's a problem for later; right now, she's going to take Chuuya's wrist so that there's no escape until he's tried a jellied something ]
You really haven't had either, though? What've you been living on? Grass?

That - is a good idea actually, because then if we keep running into them, they'll just think we're going to the same spots shopping.
Genius.
Okay, let's go.
[ There's a couple of them who look like they're not dressed for the neighborhood that make prime targets to stalk first. ]

Platforms... hm.
[ Bruno turns back to the outline he'd laid out and after walking a circle around it once more, pondering, he grabs a few more sticks and begins laying out where everything on the inside could be. ]
Platforms might work. We have... one part of the bench here... and then a platform that's also rounded like... this. [ He breaks up longer sticks to create a more "circular" kind of idea with them for all of this. ] And if it's a platform, then. Then we can have a bin under each platform, and you lift the top part to stash stuff?

and that never works
i used to be a teacher
Alright, sounds good. As for the Augmenters— the devices themselves, no. But I've taken a swing at the soul itself in there, as it were. It didn't like that.
[It was like being punched in the face by his own brain... Weird experience. He makes a face.]
Given the location of the device, removing it is risky. And the soul will defend itself, besides.

[Momo, true to his word, works quickly - once he's got the sample containers filled, he pinches lids closed with his claws and starts to wade back towards shore. After only a few steps, though, his legs bend, his underside brushing against the water's surface before he leaps free from it with a cacophonous splashing, wings unfurling to carry him the rest of the way back to shore.
His landing is fairly neat despite the rush to get out of the water, but as soon as he hits solid ground, he places the vials gently on his pack...and then simply drops onto his belly, his legs poking out at awkward angles around him as he lets out a long, self-soothing chitter.]
Alright, that still sucked. [He takes another few moments lying around before his legs rather abruptly move to pick him up again, shaking himself off like some eldritch horror dog.] But with how much Katalyth I could feel out there, I still think that went better than it would've if I wasn't like this.

[ Why? A cheery 'why not' sits on the tip of Geto's tongue, but shhh, this isn't home. At least for now he should remain amicable towards these... people. ]
Given the current situation it seems fitting, wouldn't you agree? Even if they're not real, they may calm the mind a little.

[And Silver was none the wiser. Probably for the best.
He nods, his face contorted a bit by a frustrated frown]
Yeah... I was hoping whatever is interfering with my psychokinesis would be temporary, but it hasn't really gotten any better... And sticking me with a dinosaur roommate isn't exactly a fair trade, if you ask me.

Intangible shit.
[ Gojo rolls his eyes at this incredibly helpful description. ]
Well if you can describe any further clues or vibes on that maybe we can investigate doing something about it. For now...
[ He sticks out his arm, pulling up his sleeve to offer his wrist. ] Go on. I can heal, and if you take too much or take something intangible I can certainly punch you in the face to stop you. [ Thanks, Gojo, I'm sure he finds that very reassuring. ]

[Strength is definitely what they're getting from a statement like that.
They nod.]
< Then it sounds like I've found the right guy. I'll try and stay out of your way while we're out there--if you want to go now, I mean. >
[It's not as if they have a lot they need to prepare to take with them.]

I will. Consider me another about to get chatty and dig into things in the public light. [He isn’t about to let a possible ally not know what he plans to do. It would be poor etiquette. He taps his fingers against his chest.] Once I recover.
[He isn’t about to push himself too far. He has to be seen in a specific light. He sighs.] Anyway I’ll keep an ear out. If I hear more about this ‘drug’ they are testing on us. I’ll let you know. I get the feeling they are going to be doing a lot more tests.

[something stirs. it's evident in the way dazai's fingers tug at chuuya's curls. he pulls their faces closer, their noses brushing. his gaze seems almost lost, bleary and unfocused. but he pulls away a moment later]
Home.
Chuuya. Chuu-yah...
[ A name he's never heard before, which a few drinks in he allows himself to over-pronounce in order to get a good sense of the mouth feel. Why not. ]
Pleasure's all mine, Chuuya. The name's Alik. [ Elbow planted on the bar, he lifts a gloved hand for a shake. ]
You ever play "Never Have I Ever"?

[ He emphatically slaps his cleaning rag on the counter and then brings his hand (and rag) to his chest as a gesture of pride. ] Absolutely! I'd be remiss to not see the results of any experimentation.
Should I bring anything? Notes, documentation, medical supplies... Tea?

Demon?
[Said with a skeptically arched eyebrow. Not that Dearka has any reason to disbelieve that.]
Well, that's still about as "out there" as ghosts are, as far as I'm concerned... My partner's the one who knows more about all that mythology and folklore stuff. I tend to just leave that to him.
[Incidentally, they're about far out enough from the city by this point that Dearka feels like he can actually bring up the thing he really wants to check in on...]
I talked to him about what we discussed in the park, by the way. We're both still interested, if you're still looking for someone who can lend you a hand on the tech front.
